If there was a less than zero, of give it. Never coming here again. Saw our food sit in the window for 10 minutes before anyone brought it out. Cold food, worst service

This Bob Evans has done it for me. I can't take any more bad Bob Evans experiences. Perhaps my standards have just raised, or the Bob Evans chains' have lowered, but enough is enough. The customer service, the food, and just not being quite what it used to be has done this franchise in for me.

Seems like this place is notorious for poor service. Went on Tuesday night around 8, barely 6 tables of people and looked like only 3 people working. I thought I ordered the chicken fingers that are typically crispy but out came a kids meal with grilled chicken that looked like it got ran over by a mac truck. It looked horrible and I tasted it... Tasted worse than it looked. I ordered the braised chicken and it was horrible. I ordered the three course meal and the salad that came with it was very wilted and not full of any life. Disappointment number two. After rolls were brought out I asked for honey but waitress never came back so I had to go up to county and asked. I also had to ask for silverware. Disappointment number three. Disappointment number four- bathrooms were a mess. Disappointment number five- had to ask for refills. Disappointment number 6- my three course meal came with dessert and instead of having the choice that was mentioned in the menu, waitress just brought out a cookie. She did get a brownie point when she brought out an extra one for my son. Disappointment number seven- we asked for separate checks and waitress didn't remember us asking. Needless to say it was a very disappointing trip to Bob Evans. And it was even in a nice area which surprised me even more. I should have checked yelp before I went and I did not, and this is what I get. Bummer. Only good part of the dine in experience: tuesday nights kids eat for free (if an adult is paying) it was kind of funny because the manager had a whole disclaimer.

I am reminded why I never go to Bob Evans. My wife and I went for breakfast. We were seated quickly, but our waitress took over 5 minutes to get our drink order. Then ANOTHER 5 minutes to take our food order. It was 10am on a Wednesday. There were only 6 other tables with two waitress. A guy by himself was sat behind us. He waited about 3 to 5 minutes before someone greeted him at his table. They caught him just before he was about to walk out. He smartly asked the waitress if he could order his food at that second since it took her so long to come to his table. The food was just ok. Hard to mess up a side salad and chicken salad sandwich. The wife got the typical eggs, bacon and grits. She said it was ok as well. Will be awhile before we come back.

Typically I like this location, however we ate here on Sat and I was thoroughly disappointed. The waitress brought our drinks and never came back. After 20 minutes I finally stopped another waitress who took our order. The second waitress was much better. The food was kinda blah....home fries were burnt. Oh well!

Dropped in here just about 7 after a crappy day looking for some quick tasty comfort food. I was truly hoping for a better meal and experience than the location at Crosswoods 2 miles south of this one. Started off standing 5 minutes without a greeting or acknowledgement before a manager came over a told me she's have to wipe down a booth without asking my seating preference. This should have been my warning sign from the git-go. After being seated by the manager it was another 10 minutes until a server came by to take my order, a raspberry iced tea and the "3 course steak dinner". I went with a salad, the marinated sirloin with portabella mushrooms and a baked sweet potato that I wasn't informed, until I got my check, was a $1 upcharge when the potato choices were offered. Another 5 minutes my raspberry iced tea arrived and c'mon, free refills or not, $2.59 for a glass of iced tea with a splash of flavored syrup? Another 5 minutes my salad arrives, I put my dressing on it and about to take the first bite when the manager arrives with my entrée, so much for enjoying a meal in courses. I push my salad to the side so I can try and enjoy my steak and potato while it's hot. I had ordered the steak medium and at best it was medium rare topped with some portabella slices, red onion that must have only been on the grill long enough to cover their rawness with grease and two slices of jack cheese. Beside this sat this small shriveled sweet potato with a pat of butter and teaspoon of brown sugar. After more long waits between check backs, I finally gave the order for my 3rd course choice, a caramel sundae which after having a drink refill come back I was told it would be a few minutes until my dessert was ready. I could see some slow service on a busy night but this place had only eight more tables seated during my hour there.Waited at the counter again for a cashier to show, asked how my meal was I could only bring myself to say OK just so I could get the heck out of there. After several disappointing meals at other locations this was the final nail in the coffin for me for this chain. What was once a place you could depend on good service and quality comfort food at decent prices has turned the complete opposite, I won't be back and those of you that read this have been warned...

Food is as you would expect from any Bob Evan's restaurant. Unfortunately, the service here is absolutely terrible. Came in around 1:30 on a Saturday, there were maybe 6-8 tables in the entire restaurant and three (maybe four) servers on, and two managers. We came in, were greeted fairly quickly, asked for just a minute to look over the menu, and then never saw our waiter again. We sat at the table for 25 minutes with not one person acknowledging us. We motioned to the manager to try and get someone to take our order, and were greeted by a completely different server, and she preceded to serve us for the rest of our time there. The food came out 20 minutes later and we were missing three items off our meals! By the time our server brought them out, we were practically done with our food... We are very patient people and I, myself, am a waitress. I used to work at a Bob Evans, too. I know that it's easy to get overwhelmed. But neither of our servers could have possibly had more than four tables, including us. If the service here was better, this place would be just fine. Unfortunately, the service here is excruciatingly slow, forgetful, and overwhelmed.

Good service, but the food was room temperature when it got to the table. The restaurant was also freezing and uncomfortable throughout the meal.

Site of my first job. Some would consider it quintessentially midwestern - forced country-style atmosphere, corporate to the max, frozen processed heart-clogging chemical-laden consumables - I'll spare you the details. Those who are deeply into Bob Evan's sausage gravy probably aren't on Yelp, so I shouldn't feel guilty about bashing this business, but if you are a fan - for god's sake! stop eating that horrendous glop! even now my arteries are shaking with fright, and I am a little paranoid that that evil substance somehow permeated me like secondhand smoke, planting a major cholesterol problem that will spiral out of control in a few decades. I was definitely over-exposed. Right, the actual restaurant . . . menu items include LOTS of stuff with eggs, including Bob's BLT, which is a BLT with cheese and fried egg. Pancakes, including cinnamon pancakes, which involves sprinkling these brown chips of cinnamon chunky stuff into the batter - actually the item I would most recommend from the menu if you find yourself at a Bob Evans, though in retrospect I wonder what on earth was actually in those cinnamon chips. Also, spaghetti, and some down-home type dinners like mom (didn't) used to make - chicken and mashed potatoes, meatloaf and gravy, etc. They do offer a senior 'discount,' (although it also means a smaller portion) - all the better to help you to your grave, my dear!
